1. Who we are
33X Cards ("we", "us", "our") is a digital card design and hosting service provided by 33x Digital, operated by Jalal Wright, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@33x.digital.
These terms apply when you order a digital card or any related service from 33x.cards. By placing an order you agree to them.
2. The service
We design, build and host a one-page digital card for you, using the details, links, images and other content you give us. The setup fee covers the card format shown on our website, styled to your brand, plus one round of revisions after your first version. Anything beyond that (such as a redesign, new sections or major copywriting) can be quoted separately.
3. Ordering and payment
- You order by completing our details form and paying the £149 setup fee, which includes your first year of hosting. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- Your contract with us starts when your payment is confirmed.
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the full amount you pay.
4. Timescales and revisions
We aim to send your first version within 2 working days of receiving your payment and everything we need from you. Delays in sending us your content will push this back. After your first version you can request one round of changes. Your card goes live once you're happy with it, or 14 days after we send the final version if we don't hear back.
5. Your content
- You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, everything you send us, including logos, photos, video clips, music, names and trademarks.
- You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your card and for the links you ask us to include.
- We won't publish content that is unlawful, infringing, misleading, hateful, sexually explicit or otherwise harmful, and we may remove a card that breaks this rule.
- Your card is public by design. Anyone with the link or QR code can see it.
6. Ownership
You keep all rights to your own content. The design, layout and code of the card remain ours, and you have the right to use your card for as long as it's hosted with us. We may show your card as an example of our work (for example on 33x.cards or social media), unless you ask us not to.
7. Hosting and updates plan
- Your first year of hosting and updates is included in the £149 setup fee. When you pay, a Hosting & Updates subscription is set up with Stripe with the first 12 months free.
- From the start of year two the plan costs £49 a year, charged automatically to the card you paid with, and it renews each year until you cancel. We'll email you a reminder before the first £49 charge.
- It includes hosting and up to 6 small updates per year: text edits, link changes, handle changes, role line changes or a new photo. Unused updates don't roll over.
- You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current year.
- If your plan ends or payment fails, we'll email you before taking your card offline. We aim to give at least 14 days' notice.
- Extra small updates outside your allowance are £10 each.
8. Your right to cancel
If you're a consumer, you have 14 days from your order to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. When you order, you ask us to start work straight away. If you cancel within the 14 days after work has started, we'll refund what you've paid minus a fair amount for the work already done. If we've fully completed your card within the 14 days at your request, the right to cancel no longer applies. Full details are in our Refund Policy.
9. Availability
We work to keep cards online at all times but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Hosting maintenance, outages at third-party providers or events beyond our control may occasionally affect access. External platforms you link to (such as social networks) are outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you ordered, and we'll tell you about any changes that affect your hosting plan before they take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
